British High Commissioner’s visit to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) on January 10, 2024. The statement strongly condemns such actions as a violation of India’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, deeming them unacceptable. The Foreign Secretary has filed a robust complaint with the British High Commissioner in India regarding this infringement.
The statement also emphasizes that Jammu and Kashmir, along with Ladakh, are, have always been, and will forever be an integral part of India. The UK High Commissioner to Pakistan, Jane Marriott, visited Mirpur in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on January 10, 2024.
