British Defence Minister said that Britain is planning to send its warships to the Indian Ocean for Military Exercise
Britain told India it is sending its warships to the Indian Ocean. This move shows that Britain and India are getting closer strategically. Grant Shapps, Britain’s Defense Minister, said they are sending the Littoral Response Group (LRG) this year and planning to send the Carrier Strike Group (CRG) in 2025 for training with India. These groups will practice military exercises together with the Indian military.
British Defence Minister said there is no doubt that competition is increasing worldwide, so it is important for us to continue advancing our strategic relationships with major partners like India.
He mentioned that by working together, we share common security challenges and are firmly committed to maintaining an open and prosperous Indo-Pacific. It is evident that this relationship is continuously growing stronger, but we should keep working together to address the risks and challenges to global security, posed by those who seek instability and harm.
