Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 Provisional Answer Key Released by CBSE

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has put out the provisional answer key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) held in January 2024. Those who took the exam can visit the board’s website, ctet.nic.in, to view it.

Scanned images of candidates’ OMR responses, along with the answer keys, have been uploaded. Here’s the direct link to download them –

Candidates have the option to challenge the provisional answer key by paying a fee of ₹1,000 per question. The challenges will be reviewed by the board, and if they are accepted, a policy decision will be made, and the fee will be refunded.

The official notification states, “Candidates can challenge the answer keys through the link on the website https://ctet.nic.in/ from 07/02/2024 to 10/02/2024 (up to 11.59 PM). A fee of Rs. 1000/- per question is required to be submitted through credit/debit card. The fee once paid is non-refundable.”

The CTET January examination was conducted by CBSE on January 21 at 3,418 test centers in 135 cities nationwide.

According to the board, a total of 26,93526 candidates were registered for both papers, with around 84 percent of them taking the exam.

Out of all registered candidates, 9,58,193 were for Paper 1 (For Class 1-5), and 17,35,333 were for Paper 2 (For Class 6 to 8).

  • Open the link to view the provisional answer key and responses.
  • Enter your application number and date of birth to log in.
  • Check and download your results.
